Joe Roper is a composer/musician based in Hull, East Yorkshire. Joe has a varied history of music creation. Having started off playing drums in punk and hardcore bands, moving to solo songwriting/performing and then to orchestral and electronic composition Joe has a gathered a wide range of experience that is demonstrated in his music. With a leaning toward dark, evocative sounds Joe creates engaging music, providing the listener with an active sonic environment. Joe has gained national exposure after being broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and has also had music featured at the Cannes Film Festival. With experience of writing for Film, Theatre and Contemporary dance Joe's ability to deliver strong, original music proves him to be a highly skilled composer.
